At Love2sing Ltd we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of the visitors to our web site and sessions. We want you to know that Love2sing Ltd is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.

 

In our Privacy Policy, we’ve provided detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information and how we use it.

Types of data we collect

Website Cookies

The Love2sing Ltd website (www.love2sing.co.uk) places cookies, which are small data files, on your computer or handheld device. This is standard practice for all websites. Cookies are essential for helping us deliver a high quality experience for our customers, and some collect information about browsing and customer behaviour.

 

By using and browsing the Love2sing Ltd website, you consent to cookies being used in accordance with our policy. If you do not consent, you must disable cookies or refrain from using the site.

 

Mailing Lists

As part of the registration process we collect personal information in the form of names and email addresses. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; send out session details and let you know a rehearsal has been cancelled or changed in anyway. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

 

We use a third-party provider, WIX (Wix Privacy Policy.), to deliver our emails once you have agreed to join our mailing list. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our services. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing admin@love2sing.co.uk

 

GoCardless

We use a third-party provider, GoCardless, to process Direct Debit membership payments. For more information, please see the GoCardless privacy policy.

Wix.COM

Our website has been created using Wix. If you sign up to a taster using the Wix bookings system your email address will be used for any correspondence regarding your taster session. Click here to see the Wix Privacy Policy.​

Photography and Video

By joining Love2sing Ltd, it is agreed that photographic, video recordings and sound recordings may be taken of all members and used for advertising and marketing purposes in relation to Love2sing Ltd. Session media will be used for social media and advertising purposes.

 

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold at any time. Please email your request to admin@love2sing.co.uk Changes to this Privacy Notice are reviewed yearly. We reserve the right to update, modify and/or change this Privacy Policy at any time. Any such changes will be posted here.

Choir Photography & Video

Love2sing may take film footage and photographs of members during rehearsals and events for use in promotion, advertising and publicity. Photos posted by members to our Facebook groups, Public Facebook Page and other social media including Twitter and Instagram, and/or emailed to Love2sing may also be used for promotional, marketing and advertising purposes.

 

Terms

Rehearsal sessions run for ten week terms. 

 

*IMPORTANT* COVID 19

1. By attending a Love2sing event or rehearsal you are personally accepting the risk, however small, that you may contract COVID from someone else.

2. You confirm that you are not suffering from any symptoms of COVID.

3. You have not to your knowledge been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID in the last 10 days.

4. We recommend that all members continue to test using lateral flow testing each week before attending rehearsals.

 

IF YOU TEST POSITIVE AFTER CHOIR

We would ask you to let us know if after attending an L2S event, you are subsequently diagnosed with COVID. We will then inform choir members that a member has tested positive.  No personal information will be shared other than that a member has tested positive.

IF LOCKDOWN IS PUT INTO PLACE

Should another lockdown be imposed by the Government due to COVID-19 all planned choir rehearsals will be provided online via zoom on the same date and time as was organised face to face..  Choir members WILL NOT be given refunds for any monies taken for choir membership whilst rehearsals are provided online.

Health

Members are assumed medically fit to undertake the demands of Love2sing Ltd rehearsals and performances. If a member has any doubts, these should be indicated to Love2sing Ltd prior to their session.

 

Refunds

If a choir rehearsal has to be cancelled, refunds will not be given, as we will try our best to arrange an alternative date.

 

Should a member decide to leave Love2sing Ltd during the term any monies owed (by Love2sing Ltd or yourself) will be settled before cancellation. You must inform Love2sing Ltd at least 7 working days before your next payment or you will be charged for the next month. want Refunds or fee transfers to a later term will only be given due to exceptional circumstances (this does not include holidays).

 

Sheet music and recordings

We will no longer be supplying hard copy music or lyrics for existing or new members.

 

After you join you’ll be given access to sheet music/lyrics in Google drive. You can view and print repertoire. Please either print out your music and put it in a plain black folder or upload it to an iPad or tablet and bring it to each practice. If a recording of choir parts is available it will also be in Google drive.​

Code of Conduct

Any form of negative or unacceptable behaviour will result in cancellation of membership and blocking from Zoom sessions.

Child Safeguarding at

Love2sing Kids Choir

 

We take the safeguarding of our children very seriously at The Love2sing Kids Choir.

 

Love2sing is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for its students. 

Love2sing leaders have enhanced clearance via the DBS - Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) and its structure is often used as an example of Best Practice when Child Safeguarding issues are discussed.

​

Love2sing does not hold auditions for places at their scheduled classes – with the exception in some cases; e.g. performance solos or an extra showcase event that is invite only.

​

All applications should be treated equally and all prospective students given at least a two week trial to assess their capability to participate. Some children and young people can have a range of individual needs including SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) or more complex behaviours that Love2sing may be able to integrate into a class effectively.

​

However, it must also be recognised that such children and young people can be vulnerable and not all children will be able to cope with the ensemble style used in our best practice teaching methods. Parents should be clear that the two week trial works from both sides and it may not be possible to include members who, although enjoying the experience, are either disruptive to the learning of the main body of the group in which they are placed or who are not able to access learning or participate and engage in the learning activity.

​

Love2sing will, where possible and where resources are available, make reasonable adjustments to accommodate the physical, behavioural and learning needs of the child.
